Work History:
Stelco (Hamilton, ON) for 25 years in the field of instrumentation and process control. My focus was the iron and steel industry.
Hatch Associates in Mississauga, ON (engineering consultant) for 15 years in a similar field. My focus was in mineral processing, nickel, copper, etc.
I retired in March 2008 after 40 years service.

e to mt Mrs. D. Andrew who taught math in Morden Collegiate in the early 60's. She helped me catch up on the math classes I missed while laid up with a leg I broke in gym class - grade 10 if I remember right. Without math, I could not have had a career in engineering.
I would also like to meet Mr. David Winter. He helped me pass Literature in an August rewrite which allowed me to enrol in university that fall. I give him the credit for that.
Paul Sigurdson is another teacher I really admired. I liked his wry humor.
