Jimmie's Story
Life
I was born and raised in Northern Iowa. In 1962 I graduated from high school and started farming. In 1965 Uncle Sam said he needed me and I was drafted into the Army. Basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, and communication school in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Went to Taiwan and onto the offshore Island of Kinman (1 1/2 miles from the Mainland China). ith Team National. Check out my web page at bign.com/berhowj. While they do some shoping in the marketplace. I am single and have three grown children - 2 daughters and a son. The oldest daughter is a teacher at Spencer, Iowa and lives in Milford, Iowa, the yougest daugher lives and works in Ames, and my son is in the Navy and in March 2007 will be going to Japan for a 3 year tour of duty. That gives me an excuse to go there and visit. Well I did visit in Nov. 2009. See some pictures in the photo album.
