Jimmie's Story
I’m a widower of 6 yrs. I’ve sold my house in Westminster Ca and moved my son and I to Powderly Texas. It’s a small town in Northeast Texas. I’m 20 minutes from Hugo Oklahoma out in the beautiful country. I’ve been here 5 yrs and enjoying the hell out of it.
Military
After my tour with the Navy. l went to work for the Department of Defense Federal Prisons. l stayed their for a year and quit, lt wasn't my type of life. So then l went to work for the City of L.A. as a Maint.& Const Helper and then ...Expand for more
Promoted to Truck oper. and then to Heavy Equip. Oper. and now l'm going for Street Services Supervisor. l'm married now for 31 years, l have a son Richard who is 30 yrs. old and working for his Masters in Business Accounting. I’m retired now. I retired back in 2009. My wife passed away in 2014. Sold my house in 2015 and moved to Powderly Texas. I’m in the process of buying another house. Living the good life. No ghetto birds no smog no police chases and no dam traffic. Just a quiet laid back life.
