James's Story
Life
After Grissom, I went to art school at Montevallo, after a year I dropped out and moved back to Huntsville for a few years going to UAH and Calhoun, doing construction work, working at the Space and Rocket Center and Germano Jewelry Gallery. Then in 1994, I moved to Montana to work at Glacier National Park. It was an incredible Summer and acted as a catalyst to get my ass in gear. I then came back to AL, got a degree in Forensic/Physical Anthropology from UAB in 1996. I then moved back to H'ville and eventually opened up a Mixed Martial Arts school. 9 to attend SF State U. for the Masters' in Kinesiology program. I hated it and dropped out one month in. I worked as a personal trainer instead, and after my wife graduated with her degree from SFSU, we moved to Carlsbad, San Diego in 2001. Down there, I went back to school to get a degree in 3D Animation. Along the way I ended up getting a divorce! After graduation with a BS in 3D animation, I moved up to Los Angeles in 2004 and now I'm living with my girlfriend in LA doing visual effects for movies. In my spare time, I surf, play video games or any kind of games really, and hang out with my friends.
