Life From 1975 to 1978 I was playing music with Tuff Luck. All original heavy rock. We opened up for bands like Blood Rock(D.O.A.)and Mountain(Mississippi Queen)In October of 78' I was hitch hiking and got picked up by 3 guys that shot me in the neck for my wallet. Guardian angel was with me that day! A week later the guys were caught and sentenced to jail or probation. Soon after that I landed a job with Xeno Sound in south Austin. I worked with bands like BB King, Ray Charles, Charlie Daniels, Blondie, Meatloaf, Styx... Awesome job! I kept getting threatening calls from the guys that shot me to drop the charges. So I decided to move to Tennessee with my girl friend. Her dad had moved there through Texas Instruments. He offered us a place to stay while we went to college. I studied music for 2 yrs.When Ronald Reagan was elected he changed the requirements for Gov. Grants and knocked me out of school. In late 1979 I ran a leather shop in Gatlinberg Tennessee. Played with a bluegrass band there. After that I started working for Domino's pizza. Within 2 years I was voted rookie manager of the year. I was flown to California for the awards banquet where I met Tom Monahan founder of Domino's Pizza. In the 80's I played with a country/dance rock group called LOOKER. Made lots of money with those guys. In 1984 after living with my wife for 6 yrs we got married on top of Roan Mt. North Carolina. 1986 our 1st son Adam James was born. 1988 our second son Andrew Marshall was born. Before that I never thought of myself as DAD. Wow how things change. In the mid to late 90's I played with three bands at the same time.1) Kid Charliemange(classic rock)2)Wurm(Classic rock and jam band)3) Dark Career(all original alternative rock).
