Jo Ann's Story
Life
After graduating from Eldgewood I completed my degree in foreign languages (Spanish and French) at Rutgers University. We have lived in Minneapolis since 1974 where we raised three sons. Our oldest son lives in Washington DC, , our middle son lives in Barrington Illinois, and our youngest son, who has special needs, lives with us and attends an art school. ing from the University of Minnesota in 1996. I left part time work as a public health nurse but continued my full time job as a housing director for a non-profit corporation. My husband Orville passed away in December 2013 after a 7 year battle with prostate cancer. The picture is of our oldest son's wedding in July 2013. Orv is on the right side of the photo and I am next to him.
