l torn down now and replaced by some modern structure. I live in Danville, CA, have six kids, 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. I have served as a school board member for six years in Hayward, CA, I wrote a newspaper column for nine years in the San Ramon (CA) Valley, lived in Guatemala with my husband for 18 months as a welfare missionary for the Mormon Church (we helped the poor people of Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Belize, and Honduras). I played the violin (in Reno, I studied with Marguerite Westbury.) I fondly remember ice skating on Virginia Lake, VJ Day, going to the movies, eating 25 cent hot fudge sundaes at the Rexall Drugstore. My father was the manager of Roger's Jewelry in Reno.
