School Crush? I remember having a crush on Bobby Pearce in third grade. We even had a wedding ceremony. Some of my outstanding memories are racing against Leonore Provinzano. She was the fastest. We'd get together after school in her basement and play school and share our dreams of what we wanted to do when we grow up. In kindergarten I had to stand in the corner for whispering while putting away our mats. Mr. Gollander saved all my product maps of the regions of America. In the play in 5th grade I was the mother (I think) and Eddie Black was the son. I didn't have a handkerchief for a prop so I had to wipe his shirt with my hand. I was too young to be romantic at the school dances when they played "Put YOur Head on My Shoulders." Miss Masui expounded a lot of energy for us to enjoy music, and with her I did like music. I remember the day they told us that we will no longer be singing the southern songs of historical significance.I remember the day Richard Greene got "the phone call" during class and had to go home.
