Joanna's Story
Life
I just recently got engaged to my boyfriend Stefan whom I have been with for a few years. We met in 2nd year university (in the same business program), started dating in 4th year, and have been together ever since. We plan to be married in August of '06, and further than that I have no clue!
Oh yeah...I am no longer a tanning salon junkie with blonde hair. My hair is almost black and people can barely recognize me...is that a good thing?
I recently ran into Chris Pasalis at his place of employment and I almost had an attack. Ever since then, I wanted to contact more people to see what everyone else is doing these days!!!
School
Bayview was a blast! I have run into a few people over the few years we've been out but I always hear about the same people and the same stories...someone (maybe me) should organize a mini-reunion. Even if it's just at a bar for drinks...we should (this goes for anyone) go!!!
College
York was a joke. I didn't think I'd make it out thanks to Mike who always convinced me that going out for a coffee and a sm...Expand for more
oke would help with steady blood flow to my brain??? Good old Economics and Prof. Darryl Reeds B&S classes--they were terribly boring yet so fun when taken in good company!!! However--I think the only reason why I completed university successfully was because he changed programs mid-way. I know you're reading this!
Hey but I made it out with honours in the end...so I'm satisfied! For those of you who know Mike...he's in Law School so he made it out as well!
Workplace
After university I got a job in the finance department at an insurance company. I stayed there for just under a year and was offered a position as a junior insurance underwriter slowly working my butt up the ladder).
So I am writing Special Risk Insurance for bars/clubs/restaurants in all of Ontario and some parts of Eastern Canada.
It's cool because I do all this research into different club scenes and I get to know a lot about the different restaurants/events that exist in the city.
Military
