JoAnne Moore:  

Life I met Philip in October of 1986 and it was love at first sight! We were married on June 12, 1987 at the Grand Canyon. Our beautiful son Chancellor was born in 1988 in St. Louis, where Philip was running a radio station (KSTZ). After Chance was born, we decided to move back to Portland so Philip could attend Reed College. He graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in economics. That same year our gorgeous daughter Taylor was born. We then moved to Houston, TX where Philip was accepted into the PhD program at Rice University. In 1997, we moved back to Portland for a few years to reconnect with family. In 1999, Philip accepted a job offer in Richmond, VA where we are currently living. Since moving to Richmond, Philip returned to school again and received his MBA from Georgetown University. I also returned to school and received my B.A. from the University of Richmond. I’m currently working as a paralegal and contemplating attending law school. Our children are both happy and healthy. Chance is a sophomore at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. Taylor is a competitive cheerleader about to start high school. They both excel in academics like their father. They also have his drive and stubbornness! Since marrying, Philip and I have traveled extensively. We recently returned from two weeks in Europe.
