Joanne Nelson's Story
Life
Retired July 2008 after 27+ years.
I was a journalist for an international union newspaper. I'm a graphic artist & free-lance web designer living in Tennessee. Co-author of the novel "Loose Screws." Currently working on a new novel about a southern family.
I spend my time with my husband of 30+ years wandering the hills of our beautiful adopted state, fishing TVA lakes, camping in Tn or NC and sitting on the back deck watching the birds fly to our bird feeders from the woods. Sunday mornings on the porch with a good cup of coffee.

Our daughter Teresa lives in NC with her husband, who works in community outreach at Duke University. She oversees her husband's World Music Central site and writes music reviews and commentary.
I dearly miss Bonnie Christy from class of '62 at Conrad High School. We became friends in 10th grade and remained friends until her death several years ago.
I often wonder what ever became of Judy Dole and Eneken Kaup, both Dickinson High class of '62. We were a tight trio in so many classes.
My, how time flies.
I fondly remember those old school days, but I wouldn't want to relive them!
