Life has had its ups and downs, I have a 26yr.old daughter who lives in Southgate, Mi. and I am now a retired nurse and splitting my time between Fort Myers, Fl. and
Houghton Lake, Mi. I am on marriage #2 and I'm doing well. No grandchildren as of yet. Love Florida in the winter but the summers are H---. Hurricanes scare me to death, and I'm so glad that I never had to experience any. Love being at the Lake during the summer, my husband and I love to go boating or just sitting on the deck watching the boat traffic go by. Hello to all my former classmates. Well, its now March 16th, 2013 and I'm enjoying the warm weather of Southwest Florida. I golf at least once a week with my husband and some of our friends and love being out in the sunshi...Expand for more
ne. We are currently beginning to make plans to go back to Michigan for the summer around the middle of May. I love being retired and spending time with my husband.

4 years ago we made the decision to live in Florida fulltime and we have adjusted to the heat and humidity during the summer quite well. Still don't like hurricanes but have learned to deal with them. Thank God we were spared this past season. Southwest Florida is a great place to live and I'm so blessed to be able to live here.
My daughter is now 33 years old and comes to visit a couple times a year. She is an RN now and works at Wyandotte hospital. No grandchildren as of yet just grandcats.
We play golf 2-3 times a week and are enjoying retirement greatly.
