Jody's Story
Life
Hey!
I grew up in Sherwood park, near where Wal-mart now sits (range road 233), on an acerage. I loved it there! It will always be home, even if my family is not there any more. My parents now live in Red Deer, so if you are looking for them to find me it will take a bit more time!
I am now living in the Vancouver area; I have been here now for almost 2 1/2 years. I have one more year to go till I am done my Bachellor of Arts in Child and Youth Care Degree.
Life has thrown some major curve-balls at me on this past year and still I am very happy, just like I said I would be in the year book! I work in a group home for people with autism, which I find very callenging, yet rewarding too! I am still single and having a blast! I am planning on moving to New Zealand in 2007 to work and travel. I can't wait!
Since High school I have become interested in out door sports, which I have come to love (rock climbing, sky diving, swimming, camping, hiking, snow camping, snow sho...Expand for more
eing, and many more!). I have also found a reason to live: God. He has changed my life, completely! I am not the same person I was, almost at all. I am now living my life in such away that it pleases Him! I am still funny and cute though, don't get me wrong! ;)
I do not know what to say now, so I am going to stop...
Workplace
I have had many jobs through the years, which have led me to the field of work I am now pursuing: child and youth care. (these are not necessarily in order)
photo shop, the Bay portrait studio, Pizza delivery, Coffee specialist at Grabbajabba on Base line, Summer Camp counsellor (8 out of the past 9 summers), Working with children who have special needs, PR director and photgrapher for weddings- engagements- and companies, Day Care supervisor, Visual co-ordinater at Please Mum, Behavioural Interventionist for children with Autism, and there must be more but I am blanking right now... that will be something for you to find out when you contact me!
