Joe's Story
Not very good at keeping my profile up to date.
Here's the 60 second view of where I've been since HS:
Went to College of St. Thomas, graduated in December 1978 with a BA in Quantitative Methods (Applied Math these days). I had a deal with the govenrment - they paid for my education, I paid back with the next 7+ years of my life in the Air Force. Got married in the Summer of 1978 to my wife of 43 years Sandy. Went to USAF pilot training in Del Rio TX 1979-1980. Assigned to SAC Headquarters in Omaha flying an RC-135 (reconnaissance). ...Expand for more
Got out of the Air Force in late 1986 and moved back to MN. Over the next 8 years I worked at 3 small Medical Companies; Med Graphics, CNS, and Data Sciences. For the next 26 years I worked at Guidant / Boston Scientific in Arden Hills. Sandy and I have 4 great kids. Three live here and one is in LA. In the Fall of 2012 we bought a lake home and are enjoying our time as empty nesters.. I retired in May 2021, joining Sandy who retired a year earlier.
That's it - nothing too exciting, and I cannot get over how fast the time flies by.
