Life
After graduating from James Madison University in 2000 with a degree in anthropology, I went to work as a field archaelogist for a consultant in northern Virginia. In 2004 I entered graduate school in the Department of Anthropology at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. also an adjunct instructor at Temple in the Departments of Anthropology and Geology. My research focuses on the prehistory of Native American populations in the Middle Atlantic and Northeast United States, with particular interests in Iroquois prehistory, Paleoindians, reconstruction of ancient landscapes and environments, and the development of pottery technology in the region.
