Joe's Story

Updated 19 Sept 2009 - Shop JC Angelcraft and change lives.... Life sure goes by fast. I am amazed at the incredible number of visits that I have recieved since joining classmates. It was nice to hear from all of those who made contact. This was I think better and more convenient than attending a reunion. Thanks all of you for the warm reception and I am hoping a few more people will pop up out of the woodwork over the next few months. I may be contacted through the Angelcraft Foundation for Education or through JC Angelcraft. Just google either one and you will find me. Remember that positive thinking is the key to happiness. Goals, are a life time affair meaning once we accomplish a goal, we can always set another goal. Without a goal to meet, life can be dull, lacking purpose and excitment. I wish you all the best of success each and every day. I wish you all a happy holiday season and may God bless each and every one of you in all you do. Cordially Joe School Memorable Moments: (Memories are periodically updated when contributions are made) Clinton Mendenhall Elementary: (Recently added) TIM LOWER said "Hey Joe I Remember playing tackle football with the older and bigger guys at Mendenhall field with you. You had a bloody nose or mouth after one of these battles"- ~Tim Lower (My Comment) Tim was fearless and although we were both only in the 5th grade, playing football against the high school kids toughened us up and got us ready for Jr. High. Watching our prodigy schoolmate Dain Kirpatrick play ragtime on the piano when we were barely 8 years old. Hangin in the trailer Park with Dain, Eddie Herbert and Jim Bergman. The three brutes: The Ash., the Berg, and the Chav Doig Jr High: After School sports with my buds. Flirting with Leslie Nagy, Kerry Morris and Erica Recore. Winning Trophies! 1977 Outstanding Athlete! 1978 Outsanding Sportsman Running for student Body President in 8th grade and "losing" to my childhood friend Jeff Pace, but having the time of my life as my buddy and campaign director Bill Sholz AKA Bill Probert AKA Gene Simmons, had a hell of time getting my name spelled right. Watching my best friend and sports rival Mark Mcgarrh recieve Oustanding Athlete Trophy for the 8th Grade. Getting struck out by Mr, Shackleton's underhand softball technique. Have had a deep respect for fastpitch softball ever since. Santiago High School: Being a part of 1980 Championship Season on The Jr. Varisty Squad was the hi...Expand for more
ghlight of my time at Santiago, nothing tops perfect 12-0 season. Hanging out with the Mcgarrhs, my friends since childhood, as well as the rest of the gang who went to Doig and Clinton with me. Getting into the movies for free was a close second! Thank you Michele Bolen. Saddest moment: The day I transferred Saddleback High School: Playing the part of Nathan Detroit in our High school Musical “Guys and Dolls” and acting alongside the most talented high school actors ever in "Rusty" who played Nicely-Nicely Johnson and "Darcy" who played Benny Southstreet. All those great afternoons spent with my girlfriend and co-leading actor Kathy Lindiky. I also cannot forget my lovely and beautiful girlfriend Tina Flamini who drove me absolutely crazy. Relocating the “Bobs Big Boy” with the help of Danny Cllllrrrrrr, Greg lllllllll, and Ed Sheeeebbbbb........yes "we" did it...that was us ....but I think that there is a statute of limitations or somthing like that. In any event, I will shoulder the all blame here. Cruising the beach with McFadden in the “Lancia” Hangin out with Jimmy Manning a friend and associate I am very proud of and who went on to greatness. Most embarrassing moment: Sneeking Suzzzan from “Foothill High” into Danny Clarks house and getting caught in the bedroom by Danny’s Mom. and Getting caught by the Vice Priniciple drinking Black-Russians during school hours at Riviera Resteraunt in South Coast Plaza with Pete Nestler.
