Life
After graduation, Cindy and I went to Texas Tech, and I started my career with a Fire Sprinkler company as a commercial and industrial fire protection engineer. We moved back to Houston, had two boys, and then followed the commercial construction work around the country (San Antonio, Richmond VA, Roanoke VA, El Paso, Manassas VA, and back to Houston in 2002. orking as a Six Sigma Certified Black Belt for the Tyco International subsidiary, SimplexGrinnell. My job is to meet with business managers, evaluate their processes, teach them how to measure their processes, collect performance data, and then recommend solutions that increase their operating income and cash flow.
