~~UPDATE SEPT 2008~~ I never visit this site. Find me on Facebook if you want to touch base. ~~UPDATE ENDED~~ ***UPDATE MARCH 2007*** A year has gone by and it's gone quickly. The kids are great... being a mom is working for me. Ethan and Morgan have switched jobs - he's the easy one now and she's the pill.. okay, so she's just like me and possibly more stubborn. Possibly. ***UPDATE ENDED*** ****UPDATE MARCH 2006**** Baby number 2! Morgan was born this past summer (June 2005) at 9 pounds 13.5 ounces. She is such a great baby. Ethan was a challenge. Morgan, comparitively, is a breeze! Since last update a zillion things have happened. I quit my job and we moved to Connecticut. I do the stay at home thing and man - this mom stuff is way more than our moms ever let on. ****end update**** ******UPDATE DECEMBER 2003******* I have a son! Not much time to do this stuff - so busy with the baby. We had a baby boy, Ethan. He was born at 10 pounds 5 ounces and is growing strong. At 3 months he was 18 pounds 10 ounces (for those without kids, that's a biggun!). He's adorable and takes all of my attention and care. I did put up a quick page on our rudimentary website. :-) ****end update****After high school I went to college for a couple years. I took some time off and then went back to school in Albany where I met my husband and best friend, Ian. He's the most amazing to person to enter my life - hey, he'd have to be ...Expand for more
to put up with me! We spend most of our time playing soccer (indoor and outdoor, usually 4 times a week) and hanging out with friends and family hiking, trail biking, sailing, and what-not. In fact, my Now photo was taken after a nice 8 mile hike we did on part of the Blue Ridge Mountains on our anniversary this year. Hey, it's not a beauty shot, but it's accurate in its portrayal. Anyway, we lived on LI for a year after I graduated from Albany and then lived in Saratoga (north of Albany) for a while. About a month after we married in 1998 we moved to Northern Virginia (in DC's technology suburb) for several years now. Every so often I head back home for a visit. Mom's sold the house but still lives in Brightwaters and the boat's still in the canal, although Mom and Dad each have their own boat (the whole divorce thing didn't work well with sharing it) so keep an eye out for both Dauntless and our newest - Whisper. UPDATE 04/2003: Things are still good. After 5 years of marraige (last year) Ian and I decided it was time to start the family. We are expecting a son this August (I'm about 5 months along now) and we're pretty excited. We're trying to work out some sort of work-from-home scenario for me for when the baby comes along.
