John's Story

I was Homing Coming King in grade 6. I was also on the school safety patrol sponsored by the Santa Ana Police Department. I later graduated from Santa Ana Valley High in 1966. In 1969 I joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and retired in 1994 as a Sgt. I spent my entire career in British Columbia. I continued on in private security afterwards. ana grow-ops. I have been remarried for 30 years. My wife, Christina and I have three adult children and six grandchildren. Three of my siblings still reside in Orange County and a fourth lives in British Columbia, she is Jeannette Abbott and was Home Coming Queen of Santa Ana Valley High in 1964. I have very fond memories of Edison, those were great times for kids. I also volunteered for kitchen work washing pots and pans every lunch day for a great free hot meal! Now that was living...
