Highlights of John's years at MHS:
1982: Freshman. Forced to play baritone sax for band director Royce Regan. Football team was undefeated until the very last game vs. Leon.
1983: Sophomore. More of the same.
1984: Junior. Played keyboard in a band called "AXSHUN" in the Junior Revue. (what a laugh! - our act was "Careless Whisper")
1985-6: Senior. One of the few to ever avoid taking Grant's Am. History II! Graduated salutatorian (thanks, Mr. Grant for those B's).
Best friends: Joe Cotton, Chris Mann, Scotty Huang, Jay Shivley, Matt Holley, others.
Worst enemies: Michael Rabon, various members of the football team.
