John's Story
Life
In April of our senior year I started going with Roxene Merritt.(also class of 71) We have been married since August 1972. In October 1972 I joined the Navy and stayed in until I was medically retired in April 1993.(see military bio) Along the way we had 2 children, Tami in Jan 75 and John Jr in Feb77. After the Navy I worked as an armed security guard (imagine me with a gun!!!) until July 97. Then I started driving for Coastal glass distributors here in Charleston. I drove for them till (9/1/09). I ran two trips a week to North Carolina and back. We now have 2 grandchildren also Kayla and Billy. We get to Greenville once a year or so. And we have made the last 2 class reunions. Hope to see some of you at the next one. Thank you for taking the time to check out my life. Feel free to drop me an e-mail, and may god bless all of you and your families.
