John's Story
Kathy and I moved to the mountains of North Carolina 5 years ago from Atlanta, when we sold our business of 17 years . We built a house just south of Black Mountain, NC and Southeast of Asheville, NC. We have a daughter and her family living in Asheville, where they own Tupelo Honey Cafe in downtown Asheville. She and Steve have 4 sons, 2 graduated from FSU, and the other 2 in middle/high school. Other children live in Philadelphia, Johnson City, Tn and Montreal Queb...Expand for more
ec. There are 3 grandchildren living in Philly.We are enjoying retirement in the mountains by quilting and volunteering at shelters and ministries for the needy in Black Mountain. A new granddaughter was welcomed into the family on October 30,Anna Macrae. She lives in Johnson City Tn. We attended a grandson's wedding in Florida,last June 22, Kathy's and my anniversary, and another grandson proposed to the love of his life, with a wedding scheduled next June in Florida
