John's Story
Went for K-8 at Washington School on Ridge Road, after which I went to LHS. Graduated and continued on at Newark College of Engineering which I received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Landed a job with TRW but left after a few months to take a better offer with IBM. I took a leave of absence from IBM after only a year and joined the Nany as a Seabee in MCB 121, stationed i...Expand for more
n Gulfport, Mississippi where I went through hurricane Camile. Then served in VietNam at DaNang and LangCo. President Nixon decommissioned our outfit so I came home and went back to work for IBM.
Along the way I married and had three children, all boys.
Retired from IBM back in 2001 with 34 years of service and moved to Virginia where my wife (oh yea, same great girl) currently reside.
