Life
After 50 yrs. and two weeks of marriage, my wife, Janet, died on Aug 29, 2007 following a three months' battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. This happened almost five years from the day when we moved to Western Maryland from Bethesda,MD to escape urban sprawl and traffic congestion. In 2004, I returned to St. Joseph, MO to attend my Lafayette High School class' 50th reunion. What a wonderful occasion. Earlier this year, I did the same thing returning to Fremont, NE for my 50th college class reunion. That, too, was a delightful trip.
