One of my favorite memories from Baker occurred my senior year. I was taking a journalism course that was being taught by Coach ( Terry ) Lewis. One afternoon toward the end of the 3rd six weeks grading period when all the students in the class were seated Coach Lewis closed the classroom door and proceeded to tell us how disappointed he was with our class.He said that everybody's grade had dropped drastically from the previous grading period. He wasn't sure if it was because we had quit on him or if he had not mad the classes interesting enough. For our homework assignment that night he told us that we were to write a paper and in the paper he wanted us to tell him why we thought everybody's grade had dropped and what grade we thought we deserved. Well I knew why mine was so low. First of all the girl I had been going steady with had moved away and I was missing her a lot.
