John's Story
I don't know any of these people in John's past but I remembered he said he did when he looked at the site. I lost John after a 12 year battle with colon cancer in April 2015. We met in college at U of Northern Colorado and married in 1974. We were together for 45 yrs and worked and lived in Saudi Arabia and Calgary Canada during those years. He was the sweetest, kindest,most gentle man I have ever met. He often talked of his early life in Suffern, both at parochial school with the nuns and later at public school. s ago and were able to go on a couple of fishing trips to Colorado,where we first met. Sadly we lost Billy a few years earlier than John due to cancer also. I will always remember my first trip to visit John's family in Suffern. John had joked of the viciousness of the nuns. And his face was priceless when walking in "downtown" Suffern does he see walking across the street but on of those same nuns who struck fear into him as a child. He COULD NOT believe she was still alive. Know that he often remembered his early life and those he attended various schools with. He is very very missed.
