John's Story

After high school worked at Willard/Sampson untill August 65. Inlisted in the US Air Force for 3.5 years. Went back to Willard till the summer of 69. Spent three years in Nursing School at Willard. Then work there till 74 when I went to school at College of Technology in Utica and obtained a BSN in Nursing. In 79 Commissioned in USAR and became a operation room nurse. LTC. Retired from state service, 2003. Now enjoy my grandsons Austin, and Nathan along with their family Dan (son) and his wife, Stephanie. Have restored a 68 Firebird convertible and now work in on a coupe of the same year. My son and I enjoy fly fishing as well as boating. My daughter works for Foster Care in Green County and lives with her mother, Debbie, also a retired state worker in Coxsackie, NY.
