Life
Where to start? After high school I went off to Wash U in St. Louis to spend the first two years of what pretty much turned out to be a three year party. I moved to the Northwest in 1980 and have been in either Washington or Idaho ever since. I landed (no pun intended) with the FAA as an air traffic controller (ok, pun was intended), which I retired early from in 2001. I took a couple years off before deciding I needed to do something when I grew up, so I want back...Expand for more
to school and got my BA in Political Science. Once again defying all odds and happening to be in the right place at the right time, I got a job working for a Washington State senator, who I have yet to drive insane but she will say I'm working on it!
I have two sons that I have to get a stool to look at eye to eye (which is just all wrong) and a daughter who is going to be extremely disappointed when I have to explain to her someday that she isn't of royal blood. Oh well.
