John's Story

Well, now 22 years after high school in Absarokee I fled to California for 2 1/2 years and worked near Yosemite Park. The moved to Anaheim, CA for 10 years, where I graduated with an A.S. in Mortuary Science and a B.S. Degree in Business. I worked in funeral homes for five years, then a Medical School for 5 years. I enjoyed it all. I was married in 1993 and moved to my wife's (Jen) hometown in Ohio. In 2000 I bought into a business, and in 2005 took full ownership of the local funeral home....Expand for more
We have no children (not by choice) and keep extra busy when not working volunteering and sitting on local boards. I am now involved at the state level with the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and will sit on this Board until 2012. I travel with this group every other month.
We took our first vacation in 2009 after 6 years of working and being available 24/7. My wife and I worked side by side, day after day, AND she still likes me.
I have outgrown Absarokee, MT where almost all of my family still lives, and enjoy and larger commnity of 20,000 in Ohio. Later!!
