John's Story

After high school I went to Ryerson to study Urban Planning. That didn't go as planned, and after being sent to the curb at the end of my first semester, I found myself wandering into a Canadian Forces recruiting centre. ed in Somalia (1993), Bosnia (1994-95) and Afghanistan (2007). I completed the EMBA program at Ivey in 2009 and then left the military in 2010. I now live in Toronto where I work in banking. My wife and I have two amazing daughters (born 2008 and 2010). I still can't play the guitar but I keep trying.
