John's Story
John W. Hall is the Motorist Information Coordinator for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. A graduate of Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, with a bachelor of arts degree in music education, he is a 25 year veteran of radio broadcasting in Memphis and Nashville, including a decade as the Director of Operations at the Nashville office of Metro Networks. ce 2004, JohnâÂÂs duties include heading up TennesseeâÂÂs 511 effort and distributing traffic and travel information to media outlets across the state. He is also in charge of TDOTâÂÂs 20 Twitter pages (check out twitter/TN511). In addition to working for Metro Networks, he previously worked for the following Tennessee Radio stations: WEZI-FM, WRMX-FM, WWEE-AM, WLVS-FM, and WZEZ-FM.
