life has its iOS and downs, but this is a milestone year :I made it to 60!

August 2009:
Lot's of changes since my last Life update:
*married May 13, 2006, just weeks after the last update
*Changed jobs, now tech support for AT&T's U-verse IPTV project since Sept 2007
*Graduating in a couple of weeks from ITT Technical Institute with Associate's Degree in Computer Network Systems, contemplating going back for complementary degree in Electronic Engineering Tech, or, if ITT is approved for baccalaureate programs in Ohio, continue on with CNS.
*my daughter got married April last year, and made me a grandfather seven months later!
Looking forward to the Sycamore HS 30th reunion (even though I'm class of '81 at Millersburg M.I., which closed its doors several years ago)

ve been working for Columbia Sussex Corporation since May 1997, so I'll soon be celebrating(?) nine year employment anniversary - by far the longest I've worked for one company in my life! I started as a hotel night auditor, transfered two times to other hotels in the corporation, the last time to a new property in the Cayman Islands October 2000. I just returned in October last year after working/living there for five years, with my fiance, Ada, who is a Honduran native - we have plans to marry within the next few weeks! I am working now in the Sales Tax department of the corporation's head office.
Ada's 24 y.o. daughter just had her first child Sunday April 9, so I am a step-grandfather. My daughter Christina is not married yet, and hopefully not expecting, either! :-o Unfortunately, I have not had contact with her or the rest of my family for a couple of years - time and distance, and not being a good letter-writer has not been good for the family relationships.
