John's Story

As of December 21, 2008, I am living in Utah. I have been married for 7 years and I have 3 wonderful children. They are Ayla (5), Xane (2), and Talon (3 months). My wife's name is Kirsten. She is the best. The rest of you guys will just have to settle for second best, because I know my wife is the best. I really love her, and consider myself blessed for the opportunity to be her husband. Ayla is smart as a whip. For Father's Day (all on her own), she wrote a card for me and spelled out all of the words herself (she wasn't even in school by then). She didn't necessarily spell things right, but I understood the whole thing. Xane is a very loving child. He is very polite, and even says sorry for things he didn't do (ie. I tripped over him--totally my fault, and he apologizes). He is a good looking little guy. Talon,...Expand for more
the youngest, by far is our most mellow baby. He smiles easily and often. We enjoy having him around. After high school I served a mission for my church in South Korea for 2 years. After that I started college. I graduated from BYU with my Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems Management (in 2003 I think). Since then I have been working for Novell in Provo, Utah. I have spent the last 5 and 1/2 years recovering from a major fracture to my femur (more like major shattering), undergoing 6 surgeries. I would like to say I broke my leg skiing or something, but I just happened to slip and fall on some gravel and hit a curb. It has changed a lot of things in my life. I have made a 90% recovery or so. Don't know if it will get much better than that. Well, that is all for now I guess.
