John's Story
Life
Two days after graduation I left for Great Lakes, IL to join the U.S. Navy. I got out in 1984 and returned to Webster Groves trying to get in with the Fire Department. After 5 years of working and not acheiving that goal, I moved to Massachusetts in 1988. Workplace
After 19 years with the Postal Service, I moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL and got on with TSA as a security screener. Working at the airport was exciting but I moved on from there. I am currently a Deputy Sheriff with the Broward Sheriff's Office since June 2003. April 2, 2005 I went back to the Postal Service carrying mail again.
