John's Story
Life
I am currently married to the greatest woman in the world. We met while working in Huntington Hospital. I have to thank Antoinette Blanck for her part. Since we met a medical spanish class which she taught at the hospital. Sorry Antoinette for the two of us dropping out of the class. I work as a Respiratory Therapist and she as a Social Worker.
We were married in 1995 and have a 6 year old boy named Max. And another son Zachary who is 2.
My wife and I have lived in Hauppauge since 1995 and love the area.
I recently took a new position as the Director of Respiratory Services at Continued Care of LI. A Respiratory Home care company on Long Island. Great JOB if you have to have one. My boss also graduated from Northport in 1986.
What I love to do in my spare time is hang out with my son's and my wife. I love photography, reading and I'm trying golf. FORE!!!!
College
When I finished California College I continued working at Huntington Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. I later designed and started up a...Expand for more
sleep diagnostic laboratory at the hospital in 1996. I ran the lab through 2000 when I left the hospital to go into the homecare sector. I worked very long hours for Apria Healthcare in the Long Island office as a Senior Respiratory Therapist Ran the department for 2 years until November 2002 I left and took a position as the Director of Clinical Services for Homecare Concepts in Farmingdale., NY. After working at HCC for a year moved onto my second directorship at Contnined Care of LI. I managed 4 respiratory therapists. I worked at CCofLI for 2 years and needed another change for the better and moved to Colorado. I now am an Area Clinical Manager and supervise 17 Respiratory Therapists in 15 separagte locations in Northern Colorado and Kansas. Living in Colorado is great. People are truley friendly. Less stress than NY. I do miss the east but can't see myself moving back away from the view of the rockies from my house. I love the work I do. I have a life and can now spend my weekends with my wife and my two great sons.
