went on to graduate and post-graduate studies at Old Dominion university, California State university Dominguez Hills, Western Pacific university, and postgraduate school at St. MARY'S UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA in Educational leadership and reading. I was a public school teacher in Virginia Beach, St. Paul Public schools and Various alternative high schools in Minneapolis and St. Paul. I was a teacher of mathematics, Earth and Space sciences, Life sciences, ENGLISH as a Second language (ESL), Russian language instruction, Social studies, English, and other courses. I taught for over 25 years to very culturally diverse student populations such as junior high, high school and adult students and at-risk students. Presently I got married to a local well known artist and reside in Elk Mound, WI. I now use my acquired ham radio skills to stay in touch with different people around the world. Also I continue teaching as a Substitute Teacher in several local school districts. I have two children. I experienced a great loss in March 2009 when my only son, Daniel, committed suicide while a student in Portland, Oregon. I went through some very difficult times grieving his death. However I have healed and am once again a very healthy person.
