Life I'm still breathing..... School Homestead Senior High ... now known as Fort Homestead, we definately saw its best years!!! I wouldn't change much about those years, lets look back... Friday night football games, BEAT SOUTH DADE!!! Carvel for Ice Cream then "The Bridge/Circle K" waiting for the cops to run us off; jumping off the turnpike bridge into the rockpit; Cutler Ridge Mall before it was an indoor flea market; Drag Races behind HAFB;Rhythm 98 and Coach Dodd with the words of victory to come at the pep rallies; Breakdancing by the 900 wing; Skip days at someone's house in the Square or Crandon (then forging the permit in the cafeteria the next morning); Open Campus for lunch and Dirty Rice at Bojangles; The smell of Mr Harrell's pipe in the hallway; Parachute Pants, ID# and News Staff Shirts, Edwin jeans, courdoroy, Z Cavarecchi, espadrilles, Swatches, OP, Shoulder Pads (ladies, don't act like you didn't wear them...); Sunshine Skateway; Base bowling; ipods????
