John's Story

Life After graduating from Lahser in 1979, I headed off to Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan for six years. After that I decided that I would to University of Texas in Austin and get a doctorate in engineering. I had a great time in Austin, since there is something going on there all the time. After graduating I headed to Houston to work for NASA, with hopes of eventually becoming an astronaut. That never happened, but I still have a great job designing thi...Expand for more
ngs for the space shuttle and the space station. Got married in 1993 and divorced in 2000. I have three children. Another great part of my life. For those of you who knew my father Robert Keller, he passed away in October 2003. My mother, Lois Keller, who was a cub scout leader, girl scout leader and room mother to many of you from Eastover, moved to Houston after my father's death. She enjoys her retirement very much and travels all over the United States.
