John's Story
I joined the military so I would not get drafted as I had a very low draft number and served for 15 years and got to see a lot of the world and ended up living in Alaska for 8 years and loved it. I received my Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle University and flew as an aircraft flight engineer while in the military. ived in Indiana for 2 years and moved to Texas where I now reside. I finally planted my roots after about 20 moves in 50 years and it is nice to finally stay in one place. I do regret losing contact with all my friends from SOLA very much. I do miss Pensacola sometimes and as my younger sister lives there I visit about once a year. I attended Pensacola High School only the 68/69 year then went to Pensacola School of Liberal Arts till graduation.
