John's Story
Life
Born in Cleveland, OH 3/9/37. Married 2/24/68 to Mary Blanche Sawhill. 5 children, 3 boys and two girls. B.S. from Adelbert College of Western Reserve University class of 1960, where I was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity, an M.A. from John Carroll Univ. 1972.
Have lived in Euclid, OH since 1961 and in the same home for 35 yrs.
I love my community and am President of the Friends of the Euclid Public Library, active at our church, Holy Cross Roman Catholic, in various groups, Coffee and Conversation, Genesis group, Bible study, Book Discussion Group, on Parish Council, etc. Involved in planning programs for our new senior center (actually programs for mature adults other than the typical senior programs held during the day) subscribe to the Cleveland Orchestra concerts, member of the Euclid Historical Society, The Western Reserve Historical Society, The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Friends of the Cleveland Public Library, The Friends of the Euclid Public Library, and the Ellis Island Foundation. tional Dept. I left Tyler's and became employed at Society Nat'l.Bank in downtown Cleveland (now Keybank) in their International Dept. until I retired in June of 2001. We enjoy our children and grandchildren. It is great having them nearby. Some actually within walking distance.

Jones, Nowell's Women in the Old Testament, McKenna's Parables, Getty-Sullivan's Women in the New Testament, Alfred McBrides, To Love And Be Loved By Jesus, a meditation and Commentary on the Gospel of Mark, The Ignatius Catholic Study Bible on the Gospel of Mark, Singing Boy by Dennis McFarland, Night by Elie Weisel, Snow in August by Hamil, and The Jesuits by Malachi Martin.
