More about John:"Currently my wife Robin and I have a nice home in the Hills of Oakland, CA. We purchased our English Tudor in December of 1999. Since then, we have made lots of improvements. My favorite is our Japanese Garden in the Backyard and and an English Garden in the Front. When I am not working on my Computer at home, I spend as much time as I can Gardening. To me, tending to the Koi Pond, pruning, planting, or relaxing in the garden is very calming. for our VISION division. The bulk of my staff and systems reside in Columbia, Maryland, so traveling to the East Coast is a must twice a year. Luckily my home office is my home, so my commute is all of 20 steps to nice office with a view of the San Franciso Bay.
Since Snow Skiing is a passion of both Robin and mine, our vacations are often spent in Lake Tahoe. We make several weekend trips, but at least 1 or 2 full weeks are spent renting a ski Cabin on the Lake and spending our time with friends or family. When the Ski Season is really good, a trip to Colorado or Whistler is a must.
After spending 3 1/2 amazing weekends in Fiji, I can never stop hoping and praying for a second home near the lush green rain forests of Fiji. A typical day would include Scuba & Snorkeling along the coral reefs and lounging under a Mango Tree's & Coconut Tree's with a Pina Colado in my hand. I must have lived in a Rain Forest in another life, because I am happiest in the South Pacific.
Who knows, I can always dream. If my dreams came true, it would include lots of traveling to find paradise in 4 continents for all Seasons. I am almost certain my home away from homes or at least frequent flyer miles would include Fiji, Europe, and Whistler, but never too far to return home for the Holidays with Friends and Family.".
