John's Story
Life
Spent last 2 years of highschool bouncing from school to school, guess I had a problem with authority figures. Remember Mr. Finch at Pershing, I had him again my senior year at Mount Miguel. Then 2 weeks after my 18'th birthday a friend of the family, (Judge Lord, El Cajon court house)gave me 4 days and 4 nights in county jail. They put me on the fifth floor where most inmates are in for 6 mo. to 2 yrs. It was there I relized I was hangin' with the wrong crowd. THANKS JUDGE! I then married Julie Macy,(class of '78) in '79. riage, we got back together a couple of years ago. Life really is better when you spend it with your best friend. We are now focusing on putting our kids through college. Then we are going to retire on a houseboat see the country from the lakes and rivers. Oh ya! Somewhere in there I started an airconditioning and refrigeration bussiness in Borrego Springs, can you say GOLDMINE!
College
College for me was just a way to get the knowledge necessary to change careers. However two out of my three kids are getting the college experience during the time of life it will do them the most good!
