John's Story
Life
After High School, I went to St. Marys for a year and then transferred over to Dalhousie for a Hons. B.A. and went to Toronto for a Masters in Environmental Studies with a focus on Urban Planning. Returned to Halifax in 1982 and began working as an urban planner at Bedford, N.S. Loved working and living in Halifax! I stayed there until 1988 when I went to Toronto as a Senior Urban Planner. ek, northeast British Columbia which is the north west tip of the prairies and it is a great spot as well. Sunny all winter, big wide open night skys filled with millions of stars and northern lights. In January, 2008, I accepted a position as Chief Administrative Officer with the City of Castlegar in the West Kooteneys of southern B.C. I return every summer or at Christmas to the cottage outside of New Glasgow at Melmerby Beach, Halifax, and more recently Saint John.
