John's Story

Began at Stranahan when it was a Junior High and each year a grade was added until it became a high school. However before it became a full high school, got switched to Fort Lauderdale High. Send me an email. Read every fifth word starting here. JOHN, you can find him AT, his personal computer address CONCINNITYBOOKS, this address is a DOT, address known as commercial COM. Tell me which school you went to, that is either Stranahan High or Fort Lauderdale High. Volunteered for service in Air Force. Went to computer school then to an early warning RADAR site, 792 RADAR Squadron (792 RADRON). After military service went to programming school (Control Data Institute), then Xerox Corp. Owned a Texaco Service Station and finally found my nitch in the construction industry. Advanced rapidly into middle management holding several positions as Superintendent of construction, Project Manager, estimator, expediter and managed projects up to 33 million. Lastly, President & CEO of an Arizona Corporation. First SCUBA diving was in the Casino Pool on Fort Lauderdale Beach. A family relative (who I cannot recall his name) was in UDT and when I saw the tank in his trunk while getting his luggage I pestered him till he took me to the pool, told me not to hold my breath and down I went. While at Fort Lauderdale High I had an acquaintance name M...Expand for more
ike Moore. We went diving off of the beach, but, because we did not have tanks we used to get them from the pet shop and in exchange we would catch tropical fish for them. Had lots of fun riding my Cushman Eagle in the period between 1955 and 1958. Was a late bloomer for college, but, finally made the decision to go and earned two bachelors degrees. One in the arts (Western Ill. U.) and the other with a dual core in business and law (The Ohio U. at Athens Ohio). First marriage was 12 years of disappointment, second marriage was much better with a daughter and four sons, third marriage was as good as a man could expect, but, ended abruptly when wife had fatal asthma attack after only four years. Fourth marriage is working out nicely. Retired now and living on a ranch in Punta Gorda Florida. Busy all the time rebuilding a 35 year old ranch house, a new shop with welding and general repair (lots of stuff on a ranch to keep busy with). Been working on a book about the Bible for several decades and it is finally coming together. Involves a time line hidden within the scriptures that begins with the Exodus and goes beyond the Millennium into the New Heaven and New Earth. If you would like to correspond please write to me at john at concinnitybooks dot com. Tell me how we knew each other or should have known each other.
