When I was young, my family moved every couple of years. My Dad was a college professor and one way of getting advancement was to change colleges every few years, so that's what he did. This means that I went to lots of different schools. I was only at Springbrook for my senior year, but it was a pretty interesting time. I was mostly interested in electronics. Back then, I was planning on becoming an electrical engineer. I had electronics first period, so I always thought it was a great way to start the day. I also took French, Physics, Math, English and World History - maybe one more, but I can't remember. One of my favorite memories was when my Dad came to talk to my World History class about his experiences during World War II. Mr. Goodman arranged for his two last period World History classes to meet at the same time and my Dad got to talk to both classes for two periods. My dad had been a teenager during the Warsaw Uprisings in Poland. Needless to say, I was very proud of my Dad. My other favorite memory was of the Senior Class Trip to the Bahamas. Boy, that was a lot a fun! I was usually a loner at school, but for some reason, I found myself hanging around with a group that I hardly even saw at school. They included Rusty Randal, Janice Dearfield, Terry Carraway, and the always rowdy Bill Manning. Bill was in my English class, but the rest were just faces in the hall.
