John's Story

Where to begin. I have move around some since graduating from Gables. I went to the UF and got a BSEE in December 1995. My first job out of college was working for Motorola up in Schaumburg, IL. It is safe to say I have continued being a Math and Science nerd like I was at Gables. After many sports related injuries and working with a great group of people, I transferred to Plantation, FL, in July 2000. I continued the same work I was doing with Motorola, just was able to be closer to my parents who had moved to Jacksonville, FL. re. Renee and I married in June 2002 and our first child, John Zachary, was born in March of 2003. Our daughter, Ciara Catherine, was born in February 2005, and ever since she got to around the age of two, we have been asked if Zach and Ciara were twins. Wanting a better place to raise our children, Renee and I moved to Lynchburg, VA, where I began working for Tyco Electronics in January 2006. We have enjoyed our time here, and in November 2006 we welcomed Dale Austin to our family, yes, three kids under the age of 4. Having three kids that close in age is always eventful, but we are enjoying it. It is safe to say there is rarely a dull moment.
