John's Story
John lives in a gated community Pecan Plantation, near Granbury, Texas. John's schools include Hueytown High School. John later attended Georgia State University (Psychology but added some Business courses). John works(ed) at Eastern Airlines, resigned to accept position of VP with Braniff Airways. After airlines went bankrupt joined a Securities Firm as Broker, had 20 million of pension assets under his management.. He and his German flight attendant spouse travelled frequently all over Europe and Caribbean. Business travel for airlines to Europe, Latin America, Mexico and Caribbean Islands. His first marriage failed he obtained custody of his three children, was single father raising his children. . He and his spouse celebrated 59 years of marriage in 2021. is financial annalist with hospital corporation, older son died in auto accident, second son lives in Wisconsin. He is retired and his spouse is retired as Professor from Texas A&M. Both are very active in there Catholic Church. John was Faithful Navigator of a 4th degree Knights of Columbus and holds honor of Sir Knight. He was appointed to Presidential Commission to a create a report concerning Airport crime, for President Carter, represented his airline to IATA, and various federal agencies. John still has his interest in aviation as Pecan Plantation has two runways and active group of pilots reside there as well.
Books John likes include The Wings of Man - The Story of Eastern Air Lines as Told by its People, history especially the period from 30's to 50''s involving WWll.. TV shows John likes include EWTN.
