John's Story
Life
After graduating from Weaver I attended the University of Alabama where I received my B.A. in Political Science in 1992. I then interned in Washington, DC for our then Congressman Glenn Browder.
I obtained my law degree from Cumberland School of Law (Samford) in 1996. That same day I met Cecilia Levio--the love of my life. :)
I passed the bar exam shortly after graduating from law school, and began working with a federal judge here in Birmingham.
On August 29, 1997, a little over a year after we met, I married by wonderful wife Cecilia (now Ritondo). Best thing I ever did.

king for a federal judge here in Birmingham and then went into the private sector. I eventually started "The Law Office of John T. Ritondo, Jr., PC". After about 4 years, I combined my practice with another firm and became a partner in Gentle, Pickens, Turner, & Ritondo.
Today I have returned to the Federal Courts and work as a Staff Attorney, in Birmingham, for Judge Robert R. Armstrong. I also teach law at Birmingham School of Law.
Cecilia and I have four fantastic boys. They are all smarter and better looking than me. :) Good genes on their mother's side I guess. After God, I live for her and them.
