Life
Greetings! Well, after 20 years in the Navy, I retired June 4, 1999 and started a civilian career. Moved up to DC from Norfolk in 2001 and worked at the State Department as the Unit Security Officer for the Freedom of Information (FOIA) office. Retired again in 2004, moved to southern California and had a stroke in 2005. Moved to Arizona and had another stroke in 2007. I am now homeless, lost everything so I could receive public assistance (MEDICARE). Been backpacking and hiking across the United States. ...Expand for more
In great shape, broke, and suntaned.
Joined the Navy in 1979; started out as a Tactical Aircraft controller and retired a Chief Chaplain's Assistant (Yes I joined the Navy Rifle Team too!). Figure that one out! I grew a beard shortly after retirement and working hard on my second career. Keep in touch and let's share sea stories (or really big lies). Remember that there will be the big 40 year reunion in 2015 for all of us from the c/o 75. Green Waves Rule! Spencerian Rifles forever and pass the single malt please!
