John's Story

Life Outside of work, I'm just another nameless face. I'm writing this as a way of passing time for an hour or two, for anyone whosoever is interested in passing time just as well. I will graduate from the College of Aeronautics at New York LaGuardia Airport in 2006, then move to Florida to further my degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to at least a MAS-Aerospace Engineering. From there, I will seek certification from the JCAB (Japan Civil Aviation Bureau) as an airline pilot for JAL (Japan Air Lines) or ANA (All Nippon Airways), flying internationally, mostly in the Pacific region. On the side, I am curently constructing a custom motorcycle, powered by a 75 HP turbine engine with afterburner. It should be a thrill to ride when completed. I also am a designer and builder of aviation/aerospace technologies applications. After college, though, I will be permanently moving to Japan to further my research, and obtain greater education and employment. My personal life, beyond an educational and professional capacity, is pretty much nonexistant- I was never an adequate socializer, and probably never will be, in this lifetime at least:-( . ople in general and I admit that I am a very shy person; I easily can be reduced to the equivilent of a stammering child when speaking of subjects outside of my vocations, or am found silent at other moments. I try not to hide my true self, nor my intentions, but people, as I have found through much experience, can be quite intolerant of other people like me, and so I Iead a completely solitary lifestyle. I am close only to my parents and a teacher from high school. Otherwise people avoid me because I am not as foul, talkative, or because I am seen as a person who is not interested in things that corrupt the mind and heart. People can be so cold and uncaring, it saddens me deeply. That's the way this world works, and I cannot seem to adapt to such a place, nor do I think I even want to anymore. In my line of work, aviation and flying, I can truely be myself in such joys, but it can be fustrating, knowing that you have nobody to share it with. As always, though, Life goes on............... I aplogize if my writing sounds like a rant more than anything else, but I rarely get a chance to speak of things outside of school and work to anyone. I will update my profile when time allows.
